what is microblading?

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique in which a small handheld tool made up of tiny needles, is used to deposit pigment into the skin.

Microblading helps to create density, fullness and shape to your existing brows. You will no longer need to spend time and energy trying to perfect your brows every morning with various pencils, shadows, gels and pomades.

After healing, results can last from 1-3 years, which categorizes the treatment as semi-permanent. Clients are encouraged to have a touch up every year or so.

CONTRAINDICATIONS…

  • Cancer- Clients must be in remission and off medication for six months, unless given consent from a physician

  • Pregnacy

  • Blood thinners/bleeding disorders

  • Active AIDS, Herpes, Shingles

  • Keloid scarring

  • Accutane - unless discontinued for 12 months

  • Hepatitis

  • Visible irritation in the treatment area


CAUTIONS…

  • Retinol/Retin A - discontinue 2 weeks prior and post treatment

  • Botox - 4 weeks prior and post treatment

  • Chemical Peels/laser Tx - 4 weeks pre and post treatment

  • Breastfeeding - 24 hours post or disposal of

  • No coffee, Alcohol or fish oil 24 hours prior to treatment


POLICIES…

  • You must be 18 years or older to have Microblading done

  • Microblading takes a minimum of two sessions 6-8 weeks apart to achieve the desired result. If you do not adhere to this recommendation you will not achieve the expectation.

  • If your eyebrows have been previously tattooed by another artist, your booking has to be pre-approved first, before your initial appointment. We usually recommend sending a clear picture of your brows to determine if we can indeed help you to achieve the result you’re looking for. If previous work is not disclosed prior to initial appointment, the client will incur 100% of the initial treatment cost, upfront. No exceptions.












Microblading $500.00 (4 hours approx)

First/initial session $250.00 (2 hours)

Second/final session $250.00 (2 hours)6-8 weeks after initial session






PLEASE BEAR IN MIND WHEN BOOKING…

  • You will need to avoid sun exposure post treatment. Beaked/large hats and shades will come in really handy. Avoid excessive sweating and water submersion whilst your brows are healing.

  • How your brows heal is up to you . We cannot be held responsible if after care instructions have not been followed.

  • Microblading is designed to offer a natural result, mimicking real hair. If your preference is a solid, filled in appearance, just remember this esthetic will not completely replace your brow products.
